Brand identity

The logo and how to use it, how names are written, the app icons, and the sample network every example uses.

The Bridge mark

The mark is Bridge's one constant: the white dot icon from the logo, inside a rounded Royal square. It's what people see in a browser tab, on a phone's home screen and in a link preview, so it's the same everywhere and never changes with the theme.

How it’s built

  1. Tile. A 24-unit square in Royal (#0038FF), the blue of Bridge's app icon. It stays Royal in dark mode.

  2. Corner. 6 units (a quarter of the side): 4px at 16px, 12px at 48px, the same 12px as a small card.

  3. Dots. The logo's icon in white, 15.6 units wide (65% of the tile), centered.

  4. Inner space. 4.2 units on each side of the dots, about 7.6 above and below. Nothing else goes inside the tile.

App icon. A square with no corners, 180 × 180 (and 192, 512 for Android): the phone rounds it.

  • Use the mark where there's only room for something square: a favicon, an app icon, an avatar spot, a loading screen. Where there's room for the word, use the logo.
  • Never redraw the dots, change the blue, add a border or shadow, or put another icon in the tile. Apps are told apart by their name beside it (App names), not by changing the mark.
  • In code: BridgeMark in the handbook's kit, the files in public/brand/ (bridge-mark.svg), and Next's app/icon.svg, app/apple-icon.tsx and app/opengraph-image.tsx.

Using the logo

The logo is 143 × 25 units; its icon is the left 44 × 25.

  • Clear space: keep at least half the logo's height empty on every side. At the 16px logo in Bridge OS's top bar, that's 8px.
  • Sizes: in a top bar the full logo is 16px tall (about 92px wide), as in Bridge OS and this handbook. The smallest the full logo goes is 15px; below that, use the mark.
  • Color: only the two files. The light one on light surfaces, the white one on dark. Never recolour, outline or add a shadow.
  • Surfaces: plain page or glass surfaces. Not on a photo, a gradient or a colored fill.
  • Never stretch, squash, rotate or rebuild it, and never set the word Bridge in Mulish beside the icon instead of using the logo.

Naming

Names are written one way everywhere. Apps and products are proper nouns; features are ordinary words.

App names

Each Bridge app is shown as the Bridge icon followed by its name in capitals. The icon says it's Bridge; the name says which app.

  • Use it wherever an app names itself: its top bar, sign-in page, emails and the app launcher.
  • The apps: Bridge OS, Intros, Portfolio, Raise, Jobs Board, Perks, Directories, Bridge Together, Network, Updates, Revenue, Workspace, Pitch, Mentors, Community, Events. Names are written as in Naming, then set in capitals.
  • Not apps, so no app name: API, MCP for AI apps, Chrome Extension, Network Sharing, Introlinks, the older intro list (brdg.app/intro-list). They're features or ways to connect.

Other companies' logos

  • Organizations and connected accounts show their own favicon, fetched by their web address, in a small tile. If there's none, initials (organizations) or a mail icon (accounts).
  • Never redraw, recolour or crop another company's logo, and never add one to an example: the sample network's firms have no logos, only initials.

What examples never invent

The sample network is fiction; claims about Bridge are not, so none are made up.

  • No customer logos, testimonials or quotes. The sample network's firms are the only companies an example shows.
  • No numbers about Bridge itself (members, intros made, growth). Numbers inside an example are the sample network's, and look like it.
  • No real people's names, photos or emails, even as placeholders.

The sample network

Every example in this handbook uses one made-up network, so examples look like real Bridge screens and never show a real member. "You" are Ana Ruiz, Platform Lead at Lanternfield Capital. Today is fixed at Wednesday, 16 September 2026.

Investor firmsLanternfield Capital, Saltmarsh Partners, Juniper Row Ventures, Meridian & Vale Growth
CompaniesQuillbase, Ferrolink, Nimbletide, Furrowmint, Halcyra Bio, Cobaltwave Distributed Energy Systems
Intros8, one of each status color
  • All names were checked against the web; two that matched real firms were replaced.
  • Websites use the reserved .example domain, emails @example.com, and phone numbers come from a range set aside for fiction.
  • Avatars are initials only.
  • Demos import from sample/network.ts; never type a name into a demo by hand.
